Spaces

At times we have everything,
Yet something keeps missing…!

For spaces too hold a place…
Spaces… holding memories’ case..

Memories.. which bring smile…
Make the case even more fragile..!

Dearest ones leave reminiscences..
And intensify the burden of their absence..!

Pondering makes the decisions weak,
Makes one feel helpless and meek..!

True... choices define our lives…
Don’t be so greedy..
No one forever survives..!

Laugh out loud .. and understand ..
Why some smile and some pretend..!

Pray for the best but believe more..
Beliefs are magical in healing sores!

Have faith on time..It may vacate the space..
If it doesn’t, you are as good as an ace !

  5. When I read these, I wonder if all of us are in the same state.. :) We choose to believe all which we were taught not to push our faiths into; and if none has ever survived then why do we fool ourselves with beliefs which will someday turn out to be another source of disappointment??
This one was amazing.. It was perhaps the shortest of all yet it was deep at most of the places..

  6. Lovely poem.
Refelection of the kind of person that you probably are. Those close to you can judge better than me as I may miss some feelings and just run my eyes over the words.

It's ....................

It’s beautiful, it’s lovely It knows no fear... It keeps you jolly, Won’t dare to bring a tear… It’s endless, it’s galore                                   So selfless and pure, Content in what seems... Won’t ask for more... It’s magical, it’s blind, Not one is its kind, In abundant shades Its magnificence unwinds... Its innocent, its blessed, No, it isn’t perfect or flawless… Doesn’t always need words, May wait unexpressed!!! It’s me, it’s you, it’s all we hold close It’s ubiquitous, yet can be compressed On a light note ;) By now, have you guessed???? Motivated by:  'Synthetic happiness is as good as real happiness'

Present!!

Today evening, while waiting for my order at the café in office, I realised that I hadn’t turned on the internet on my phone all day. I decided to continue with it and for a change tried to feel what it is to be in the moment completely. Here, to watch the simple process of peeling off and cutting fruits, to be thankful to be able to eat unaware of the pocket but just calories (though it is more difficult for me). ‘In the present’ or ‘in the now’ …a feeling I had been missing since years for either I have been a slave to my past or anxious about the future. A lot of life slips us when we are not where we are but when we are aware everything is a moment worth living for! This sense of awareness dawned onto me as I have health issues that I have been dragging for a year and that can’t be ignored any further. Since a week, I started chewing my food and what a delight it was or better than delight I could term it as wondrous! I missed almost half of my life without relishing each a...
